Several folks have posted about preserving the baitfish and not throwing a cast net. It seems to me Kerr is loaded with shad. But the question is..... North Carolina permits you to buy shad but in Virginia it's illegal???? I have asked numerous people this question...

It was nice to meet you. We ended up only catching three. All were caught within a couple hundred yards of where you saw us. Largest was 12 lb. blue. Thanks for the advice. I'm lookin forward to hitting some tournaments soon.
