Have any of you used this thing and if so, how do you like it. Would you recommend it? Advantages/disadvantages?

got one on my trailer and i LOVE it.I am totally a one man show loading the boat.It's locking mechanism has a very loud "clank" so you know it is latched.Get one, you will love it!!!

I have one too and love it .....just don't use it for towing ...always winch it down at the top of ramp and release preasure on pin ....... or you will bend pin and have to buy a new unit

A friend of mine has one. Just drive the boat onto the trailer until you hear a "click". Boat and trailer is ready to drive up. Not safe to use for highway use. Winch and strap boat to trailer as you would normally do.

are they expensive?
