I saw a baby flathead 8in long today, Swimming on the top of the water then noticed a fish was lodged in its throat. I scooped the fish up in the bait net noticed the fish was in bad shape tried to dislodge the fish from its throat but was unable to save the flathead. The fish in the flats throat looked to be a white perch about 4in long. A case of eyes being bigger than the belly.
