I\'m going to start by what I seen at a large 1%er, Bikers, and Motorcycle clubs rally, etc. recently. This is just my view but this can be across the board when you don\'t know your Membership, Prospects and hang-arounds. I started in a local MC decades ago here in GA. Just a few friends getting together and finally came up with a patch for our backs and we become a local M/C. In those days it was easier trust me. Now you have people, who others in their Club never even meet their Full Membership or Prospects and get PATCHED in somehow. How does that work? Our lifestyle is about Brotherhood and trusting the person standing next to you when you need something or for that fact anything!

If you are interested in just talking to anyone in a club, especially a 1% club, I would recommend learning MC Etiquette and Rules!! A big one is don\'t approach a member of a 1% club and touch their vest, like putting your hand on their shoulder when you walk up to one. They take their Colors very serious and touching it is a sure sign of disrespect. Some of these bikers will feel they have to show their brothers how they handle this disrespect more than likely for sure.

With that being said, Respect is a huge word in the Motorcycle Club world, be it a 1% world or just the M/C world. This is what happens when you don\'t really learn or teach your Prospects or for that matter Membership. I had just seen something last month and it wasn\'t pretty, which in turn got me to sound-off on here.

I hope I\'ll be able to shed a little light on what I\'ve learned through my travels. Bikers are all pretty much the same the world over. Well coffee is finished and so am I. hahaha TANK-OUT

We just have had the most adventurous and memorable trip ever! That bears testament to the meticulous and skillful planning of the Clubs coordinator Bro G for Nationals. The food was off the hook amazing. (just yummy) It turns out, this will go down as a all time high for everyone that attended. (92%)!! Now that was a lot of effort on Members calling, texting, etc. The weather was HOT, sometimes Rainy, Humid but just downright great also. From the prospects, to the wife\'s including outside help, the set-up was just grand. I could go on for a page or two but you got it. THANKS TO EVERYONE!

Well on to the Big news. Last year we voted to removed names patches and also not post pictures in the future. Drum roll pls....FUTURE NEW MEMBERSHIP IN THE VoVMC IS CLOSED!! That\'s right, FUTURE NEW MEMBERSHIP IS CLOSED to the Club for anyone and everyone unless you are now a prospect. Your asking yourself why, right? We are just getting to old having people in their 70\'s and maybe 80\'s wanting to now join our Motorcycle Club. Why in the Fuk didn\'t you get started earlier? That\'s a point you should ask yourself. Unless your almost a mail ordered MC you can\'t really be a true member. It\'s like these Rock and Roll band members who are going out in wheel chairs to play, enough is enough. This wasn\'t a easy thing to vote on and that you could do a Vegas bet on that too. In the end, it was the right thing to do. Being part of a MC takes a lot, that is if you are one and the VoV Motorcycle Club is just that for sure. We tossed a prospect for not attending but showed the others to attend or your out. We will not post neither, the place or time of next year\'s National. Clear the bore again, as FUTURE NEW MEMBERSHIP IN THE VOVMC IS CLOSED July, 2023. (The VoVMC Thailand has their own bylaws on membership)
We suggest the American Legion Riders, CVMA, Southern Cruisers Riding Club, etc. because they have new blood. When were gone, were gone one day.

Making sure we were all safe, well fed, happy and truly enjoyed ourselves, that describes the trip to Nationals in Georgia. Also just on my part, no more SHINE. Still can\'t see great Brother M. Need to see my dentist also now and your getting the bill. One flat tire in the whole club in all the miles going in all directions, dudes that what I\'m calling a miracle. Well the big secret is no more and the load is gone and we are truly blessed to be a part of something that has went on now for decades. I read the old emails and guestbooks and wonder where everyone is today from the clubs beginning. I can only say, Never forget the one\'s who went before us! TANK-OUT

Its that time again so you cant miss it. Be there or be square Brothers.

First up, Brother John Williams is retiring. Man I\'m going to miss you Bro. John was there when I got in and he was always solid. He cant ride far and like he said, NO trailer, we our a Motorcycle Club. Bro we wish you the Best and we will still see you sometime.

Second, Brother James Turner is retiring also. Again I will miss you and we will all miss you both. He had his time in and he stated, When I\'m a danger to myself and others it time. Brother how true! No cages for any of us. We will for sure see you as your even closer than John sometimes.

Well for everyone, YOU MUST BE AT NATIONALS TO VOTE. That has its reason and yes their are rare cases but its up to the officers. Thats one reason why you vote for them. Ride safe on the way soon and remember your image as you are in the public eye always. blessing to you and your families over the 4th of July and Have fun as the end is closer for us old dudes. tank--out

It\'s going to be a busy summer with dates already getting planned in the Tri state coastal AO. I\'ve got some bitchin to do but hard to this morning so I will leave that to the next post. Well were rocking this morning with all that joe in me so lets jump on the box and pick up the mic and sound off. Anyone watching that bubba j with jeff d. knows about my ao. :joy: Love talking about my state and all the cool stuff to do. We had a great pig hunt back in late Jan. and donated the meat. Just to give you a heads-up if your out of state next year and come you still have to pay the fee and its not cheap but great camaraderie on private land and lots of cold brew afterwards. Now on to the cutting. Again what\'s with the patch collecting on MC\'s. Had a dude stop me and gave this long sad story about joining but has already been in 3 Vets clubs again WTF! He was 73 and wanting a 4th I guess. Not happening so if your one of those Hasta la vista not. Nationals are coming fast with spring here, so get them scoots purring. tank out

It\'s with great saddest that I announce the passing of Brother Binky. He was known for his white Beatle haircut and an infectious laughter and so many other traits. He was born and raised in New Mexico and was always on the move somewhere. When I first met him at Nationals right here in Georgia he was still a prospect. However, he shown what a Soldier takes with him thru his lifetime and made the grade of full patch holder. He loved going down into Mexico and playing in the dunes as he called it. This morning, we all feel the sorrow and life just will not be the same without you Brother. Gone but not ever Forgotten. Brother tank

First a big thanks to Brother Big Al for years of service. He did a outstanding job over the years and deserves a pat on the back as they say.
Now let me pick up my mike and get on the box! Forget good spelling etc from here on. About me: Army/Vietnam Era/73-76. Born and raised in Southern GA. Yea baby. That puts me as one the the youngest in the club. Thats one reason the President ask me. As you know Presidents of MC\'s dont do guestbooks they got a club to run. Now as National will be coming in July Im going to lay it out early. I have a long time friend (up to now) that belongs to another MC with chapters in other states. Dudes he has NEVER left the state of GA! WTF!! Let me lay this out for membership and others, if you got time in grade and can retire do so if you dont leave your home states to attend Nationals. Also if you dont and just coasting along and dont get off your azz to visit other brothers turn in your colors. Your just a keyboard member and its time brother to move on. Now the President gave me somewhat carte blanche so as you see Im using it. Nationals are important. Yea, we all got issues, like the old lady broke a toenail, but its time to show up as time is not on our side forget that stones song too. Now as you are seeing me alittle more you wont hear me bitchin about the weather etc. Man Im upright and that makes me happy as shade on a hot day. More good news lol, Im going to open up posting again at some point. Read some and think people who take the time to sign the GB well they should be heard. Ive already made some changes to the GB and will be making some to the main page in the future. Now if your scoots or whatever arent ready quit watching the boob tube and playing on your phone and get them ready. Id like to see 100% turnout for Nationals as important things will be voted on. Just sitting here in the motel room on the way back home from the Bike , Blues & BBQ ride in Arkansas.(Needed rest already:-( Weather couldn\'t have been better either and everything was perfect right down to getting more bike toys. Ran into old and new friends and was ask again (also by others lately) why we don\'t wear name patches anymore. That\'s easy, when By-Laws were changed we elected to go back to old school ways without them. It has opened more doors to meet and greet I admit reluctantly. Don\'t forget Veterans Day next month and do something for Veterans as Veterans!

BIGGEST STORY IS THAT BRO T, 500,000 + DOLLAR BRAND NEW COACH BROKE DOWN BUT MADE IT TO A CAMPGROUND IN SPEARFISH. BIG THANKS TO GARY SMITH, FROM PA. WHOS GOT A CHIP ANYTIME FROM T. :smiley: HE MANAGED TO FIND THE PROBLEM AND THEY WERE BACK UP AND RUNNING BUT A WEEK LATE. MET SOME CLUBS FROM CA. AND TX. ALSO OTHERS LIKE THE CVMA, ETC. I JUST SEEN SOME FLICKS FROM THERE AND WE GOT TO DUMP FAST FOOD, WHEW :grimacing: NO JOKING ON THAT ONE.
