From what little I have seen it is very informative and gives lots of up to date information. I have joined the mailing list so that I am kept up to date on what is happening and with any changes that may occur.

There are some issues in my workplace. We have some comprehensive policies and instructions in place.

Good additional resource - will try and encourage others at work to use it too.

Remote working and office refits are currently issues as well as trying to get a disability leave policy adopted.

What do you think of this site?  

useful as a equality officer for my branch I got something that I can refer to if there is something I\'m not sure about in connection with disability.

Are there disability issues at your workplace  

not on my site but have a member on another site who has MS and arranging who has request help to raise a grievance regarding to SSP, no workplace adjustment done, (looking at grievance under the equality act as there\'s an on-going issues)

Great site, very useful. Had contact with Dave in the past regarding disability issues.

Not at CHUFT, but have had major issues with other NHS employers...hoping that this site will provide a stronger footing!

A very useful tool which will greatly assist most problems I may encounter regarding this subject. A good forum for people to discuss their issues in their workplaces.

Our organisation can be hit and miss with disabilities it all depends on the manager and how much training they have been given!

I think this will be a valuable asset to explore different ideas regarding employment and disability esp. when it comes to actually employing people for the Day Centre for adults with disabilities that I am in the process of establishing.

I think this is a great networking tool for Disability Champions to contact each other and share ideas and problems.

Are there disability issues at your workplace  

We have high level productivity rates, this very often has a negative impact on members with disabilities. We also have very robust absence policy, and despite it having a clause that excludes disability related absences, management still try it on.
