Know i will get some slack on this but here goes. Three years ago i caught a 39 pd. flathead and put it in my pond because no one fishes it and i thought it would help thin it out. Last year i saw him pull a half grown goose under water. A month ago i saw him sunning about a foot from the bank and he looks like about four feet long. I tried catching him on a hook but he will not bite. He has plenty to eat and i put shad in there ever once in a while for him to eat. I think i will have a state record one of these days but i dont think this should count. Everyone does not have a place to do this. As far as cheating, what goes around comes around. You will reap what you sow. I have sown some bad seeds before and now i am reeping them. So will you.
Great point,
Honest people will not do the wrong thing, even if it is legal. It must be cool to see a fish that big though. How big is your pond? I bet you have learned a ton from having a fish of that size in a smaller pond. Neat stuff
It doesn't take much to get some of you guys upset. Here is the link to the NC records that were being discussed. You will notice a few of the state records came from ponds.

You catfish specialist need to remember a lot of bass fishermen don't think fishing with live bait or trolling is fair. Hey, as long as you don't use dynamite or seine nets, who cares?
Ylee, that is too cool that he ate a dang goose! You have a miniture verison of JAWS on the prowl. Are you sure you have any fish left, that guy seems kinda hungry. LMAO Thanks for the post
