I was thinking of doing a phantom of the opera costume for halloween or a con after the virus stuff settled down and I thought I would look some stuff up! I found your blog through youtube and it\'s super awesome. Yall are amazing cosplayers!

I just saw The Phantom of the Opera on broadway in NYC last weekend for my birthday. It’s my favorite musical. I’m always dressing up for Halloween and even try to convince my husband who hates Halloween to do a couples costume. So after the show I say, “wanna dress up as phantom of the opera this Halloween?” He says “sure, I’ll be the phantom?” And I said “no, I’m going to be the phantom!” And he goes “who am I going to be Christine?!” And we laughed!

I love that you are a woman and dress up as the phantom! I’ve been Indian Jones in the past and was thinking about Russell Crowe’s gladiator this next year. I’m just starting to learn cosplay techniques and incorporate them into my costume design. So I’m looking forward to navigating your website for design techniques. So thanks for the website and great job!!!!!

I saw in one of your videos that you wanted a life cast of yourself. I am trying to make a Phantom costume and decided to make a life cast as well. I found this video that shows a very simple way to do it and as best as I could find the materials it should only cost around $20. I have not tried it yet so that is just an estimate. It doesn\'t seem to work as perfectly as some of the others that I have seen, but it\'s cheap and I figure I\'m going to use clay to build on top of it anyway so it won\'t make much of a difference.
