I’ve decided to stop paying for an expensive accounting service for my Instagram boutique and start doing the books myself.

It’s empowering to know exactly where every cent goes, but I’m struggling with the reverse math for inclusive prices. I want to make sure my quarterly filings are 100% accurate so I don't run into trouble during an audit.

Does anyone have a foolproof formula or a "cheat sheet" for stripping the tax away from the total? I really need to master how to calculate vat refund.
