I'm thinking of driving across to the Menden reunion. I'll be going Liverpool to Hull then Rotterdam or zeebrugge, poss thursday night then returning sunday or monday. If anyone is interested in getting a lift it should be cheaper than flying let me know and we'll sort it out. If you live en-route I can pick you up or pick you up at Hull

I found the sight really interesting. My dad was Brian(dodger)Green. About 20 years ago I had a brain injury and have difficulty remembering things from the past, once I am reminded the memory stays. So this has been fantastic for me, I can't thank you enough. The photo of the camp gates has sprung my brain into alsorts of memories. We lived in Isalohn for a bit, and then lived in von ranke strase(sorry about spelling).
I went to the kindergarten inside the camp, Hemer middle school, Cornwall school. We left germany when my parents got divorced in 1976.
I was in the choir I still have my medal for singing. I also was very good at cross country running and recieved a medal for running in the bfpo championships. I can't remember what year that was. I'm going on abit. So I'll say thankyou again.

My father was John Collinson my mother is Anne Collinson and they had 6 brats me being one of them. I'm sad to say my lovely father died of a heart attack on the 1/2/2006. my father was a WO2 and was known as JC we were in menden and sennelager .

i am trying to find bob willkjnson when i left 50 in 79 he was a sargent if any bodys knows off him or his were abouts thanks.

Does anyone know any of the following:

Dave Fareham, Ronnie Forbes, Eric Barker, Andy Linehan, Johnny Jones all joined 50 Regt in 1970.

I would like to get in touch with regards to having a reunion.
