seen a member and his wife today in the Cape Girardeau Dollar Tree, real nice couple and wanted to chat with them But i get nervous talking to any one I don\'t know . Sons of Silence had a big impact on my life in 1996, I was broke down in July on rt 3 in Ill, and had all 4 of my babies in the car, my kids were 6, 5 and 3 year old twins. There was a man who had stopped and truthfully freaked me out, he kept jerking on my car door and telling me come back to the trunk of his car he had something for me . I had the windows up ..and was hoping and praying someone showed up and stopped. Well Just as this guy was freaking me out really bad 4 of your Members pulled up and I was never so glad to see them in my life. They had rode past thought something wasn\'t right so they turned around and came back The guy who was scaring me took off real fast when you all showed up . 2 members rode in and got drinks for my kids and 2 members stayed with me. When the 2 members came back with water and sodas for my kids they informed me they also had a tow truck coming. They stayed with me out in that blazin heat . They had also called someone to take me and my kids home. When I called the wrecker service to pay my bill I found out that one of your members had paid my bill and also had paid for a garage to fix my car . I will never forget that as long as I live. They noticed how strange that guy was acting, I am so grateful they seen and came back to help me. They were so good to my kids and so good to me and you will always have my gratitude for that . I\'ve always wanted to be able to say thank you again and when I saw the couple today at the store it made me wonder if somehow I could locate you on the internet. I never ddi know any of them guys names, I asked that day and was told by one of them \" Just call us friend \" so to those 4 men you know who you are , Thank you Friend

This post has ben a long time coming back in april of 1991 I was 9 mo gone baby due anyday and my piece of shit car broke down 50 miles from no where no one would pull over even as pregnant as i was till the sons rode by a couple of the brothers at the rear of the pack flipped around you can laugh it took both of them to get me on the back of one of the bikes bless the one bros heart he was eating gas tank because i was so big!lol anyways they rode me 50-60 mi all the way back into town.3 days later my daughter was born i want to say thank you all these years later never got there names but i still say it was a sons harley between my thighs that made me pop if you read this and you were one of those guys it was a girl april 26th 1991 she weighed 6.5lb and is now 22 the sons will always have my love and respect for that day.tammie

It\'s still me and Toto

I check in from time to time to remember fun times from the past and today when I checked in, I found out about Jingles\' passing. I\'ve known Jingles for about 35 years but sadly hadn\'t seen him in forever. My fondest and goofiest memory of Jingles was a wild ride we took from out in the Black Forest of Colorado to, as he put it, \"some hippies house\" back in Colorado Springs. I was three sheets to the wind, but volunteered to take my Pinto (seriously..a Pinto) and haul myself and three 200 plus pound guys into town to get whatever they needed to get and give them a ride back to the house. We went to the hippies house, started back to the house and I then decided to take a short cut..Well, as I started out on the shortcut, not familiar with the road and three sheets to the wind, I hit a hairpin 15 mph curve doing about 50 which sent my Pinto full of beefy guys flying through the air, over a fence and out into a cow pasture in the middle of nowhere. We finally bumped to a safe landing, everybody checked everybody else out and we were somehow miraculously all fine. I remember seeing cow eyes peering at us in the dark. I tried to start up the car but it wouldn\'t start. So what do my beefy friends do? they open up the trunk and flicked a lighter under the hood to see what the problem was. Unfortunately it was pitch black out, the lighter didn\'t give us enough light, and we were stuck. This was well before cell phones so we couldn\'t call for help. Finally far away in the distance I saw a dim light from a trailer and volunteered to walk over there. Apparently I was the volunteering kind that night. When I got there the door opened up and there was an old woman and man in their 80\'s drunk on their ass. They asked me a 100 questions before they would finally let me use their phone. I called the house, and a couple of guys came out to get us. When we got back to the house, Begonias said he told me not to drive, and frankly I didn\'t even remember seeing him so you know I was in bad shape from the beginning. The next day Ruggie came out to the pasture with me, jumped in the car and it started right up and we drove off like nothing ever happened. From that day on, to a certain few beefy guys, Jingles included, I was known as the \"flying Kirby sister\"...RIP my friend, and thanks for the fun memories.
