Back in the 50\'s and early 60\'s we used to have family holidays just down the road by the beach, staying in a bungalow which, in the 50\'s had no electricity or running water. Really exciting for us kids! We used to walk or cycle past St Andrews frequently. Using \'StreetView\' I thought I\'d see if the church is still there and it is. Will make the effort to visit this area, full of happy memories, during 2015.

Your site is invaluable - I have managed to track down churches & chapels used by my ancestors that I would have struggled to find otherwise - most notably Meeting Hill Baptist Chapel (near Worstead) & the Swedenborgian Chapel in Norwich .... I am yet to \"find\" St Margaret\'s Church at Morton-on-the-Hill (next on my list!). Thank you so much for all the wonderful information on your site - it has helped bring my research to life!

Chanced upon St. Peters whilst lost in Norfolk in the middle of the night last week. It was floodlit and an incredibly beautiful sight. So much so that I made sure to look it up when I got home.

I\'m currently doing research on Norfolk\'s agricultural history, and this church came up in an archival search at the Norfolk Record Office. Unfamiliar with the area I was attempting to find out more when I came across your site. Not only is it informational, but very interesting! Thank you so much for taking the time to post this, it is much appreciated!

Was thrilled to find pics of the East Barsham Church in Norfolk on the internet. Since my ancestors are from that area it was of great interest to me. Thank you for sharing!

I used to live in Norfolk and these pages are making me physically long for English churches, especially Norfolk ones. This site is beautiful, erudite and copious - it also manages to convey something of the mysterious rural spirituality that I so love about these special places.

Thanks for the superb website. It has been invaluable to me over the past five years when I am researching churches for the Norfolk Gallery Quire of which I am Musical Director. Our musical Church tour of 2015 will be ending at St Helen\'s Gately when we will turn the clock back over 200 years for a full sung evensong from the Age of Enlightenment.

The unusual Holt Methodist church building should be renovated back to its original glory. I\'d love to see above the polystyrene panels. Sadly the congregation may be too few to be able to achieve this but surely the National Trust could undertake such a challenge. Situated at the top of the town, it\'s the first thing people see and it is well worth preserving. So is what they teach inside its walls.
