First time posting

I got a call a few weeks ago about RMA from Texas. Being the only guy that graduated from Michigan in 1970, I haven't had any thoughts of RMA in years. The call perked my thoughts about the old place and what had become of it. As I looked through the messages on the forum I was sorry to see that friends & faculty that helped shape who I am in the obituaries. It was nice to see the some of the guys that I felt I could call friends are involved. I see my Company Comander (John Piloto) got smarter than most of us and moved to FL, my bowling partner (John Rottman) is still around and kicking, and my old bud from the neighborhood (Jim Reed) has moved to the burb's as I have. With any luck, I'll get the chance to see you guys in the future. A road trip to Aledo my find a way in my plans this summer.

Re: First time posting

Hey Charlie, what's up. So great to hear from you even if you changed my name to John. Hahahahaha. Hey, who cares. I've been called worse than that. How have you been? I am not sure if moving to Florida was smart but, that is what I did. Hey, keep in touch, send me your contact numbers via your email address. Let's keep in touch.

Re: First time posting

Frank, Sorry about that! It was late at night for me and I got names turned around in my head. My e-mail is ******************* and my phone at the house is (586) 465-0806. After reading through some of the older messages, I see you went to work for the government. Join the crowd. When I got out of the army I swore that they would never get me back in a uniform again. Two years later and I was a member of the Michigan Air Ntional Guard and a year after that I was working as a civil servant full time for the guard. Just two more years and I can take off that uniform for the last time. Its' been real and its' been fun but it hasn't been real fun. My unit has been over to Saudi & Iraq since 9-11 and it looks like we might be getting a return engagement to Iraq late this year or early next year. I'm planing on going to the 2006 reunion if I'm around. I hope to see you there. By the way, have got any information on either Rottman or Reed? I'll be looking for your reply. Charlie
