Both the Finfrock and Fessler families have decided to organize a 5k run/walk to generate money to donate to cancer research in honor of Jerry and Paul. We will be having an initial/planning meeting on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Covington Eagles. At this meeting we will put our thinking caps on and get some ideas on paper, such as: date, course, goodie bags, donations and sponsorship, committees, services we can use, t-shirts, food, time, media resources, registration sheets, door prizes, financial contributions, signage, police/fire department assistance, community support, mailings, timing chips, race bibs, name of 5k, volunteers, water station(s), etc.
If you can’t make it to this meeting, but would still like to help, please let me know so I can include you in our plans. If there is an area in which your talents will be best utilized, please let me know so I can assign you to that specific committee.
