Meeting the shad at Clarksville for semi annual fun fishing for bass. I've done well previously in the evenings fishing over flat ledges with surface and crankbaits. However, I haven't had much success during the day. I know the water fluctuates, but for the last couple of years, when I have visited, the water level has been in the area of 299 and 300. Anyone have any advice for the day time? I live in northern Va. and fish the Potomac regularly and would be more than happy to share my knowledge of that waterway. Thanks in advance. Email works too.
