I made a request call into Rep. Virgil Goode's
office for an invitation to join us for our Kids
Fishing Day catfish tournament. I received a call
back stating he will attend. Virgil Goode will be
there, along with news coverage - WSET.
A message for everyone to join us for a fun day
and bring your Kids. Mr. Virgil Goode assisted in
keeping the boat ramp open. Now, we would like to
personally thank him, and show our appreciation
by letting Mr. Virgil Goode see how important this
resource is to the region and the future of our
younger generation to enjoy.
We are having our "Kids Fishing Day" this Saturday,
9/16/06 located and Staunton View Boat Ramp, Buggs
Island Lake.
There will also be fun and games, Smokey the Bear,
free lunch and beverages, and prizes given away to
everyone who attends. To enter the tournament is
absolutely FREE! There's no charge.
2006 Kid's Fishing Day Catfish Tournament
LOCATION: BUGGS ISLAND/KERR LAKE - STAUNTON BOAT
RAMP RED OAK, VA. OFF HIGHWAY 15 -FEW MILES NORTH
OF CLARKSVILLE.
4th annual fun filled day of fishing and games. All
kids 13 and under free to enter the catfish tournament
supervised by parent or responsible guardian. Free
lunch served at 12:00 noon to everyone, bring your
fishing rods, bait and chairs.
