Been fishing cut bait in late evenings, hour or so before dusk, drifting up, across and down main lake points and have had alot of success with nice sized white bass, cats in the 3 to 7lb range and even several LM's, two over 4lbs. Fished two rods and had so much action had a rod in each hand waitin for the yank. Over the years, seems REAL hot days and still to little wind evenings really gets the WB and cats going. Kept a few cats for a fish fry this weekend and they were CHOCKED FULL of clams.
