Hi all!

I was hoping to get a little more information on fishing the split. We were looking to target stripers and cats in this area. Any pointers on how to fish it would be appreciated. It looks like there is a large section with about 2 ft of water surrounded by some drops into the main river channels. Is it best to fish around the deeper channels or in the shallows. How about trolling vs. still fishing? Fish at night or during the day? Based on past posts, it would appear that if I use live shad, I will have a hard time keeping the cats off as opposed to the stripers. Any help would be much appreciated.
