A guy brought in 4 flatheads to be weighed yesterday @ Weston' Grocery. He had caught a total of eight and weighed the top four and released them back into the lake. They were biting bream and some other bait was used also. The fish weighed between 27+-37+ pounds. Sounds like they have a nice little hot spot this fall.
The blues are steady biting a variety of bait. Most are 25# or less.
Channels are steady are increasing as the days go by. Grubs are my choice of bait, but it doesn't hurt to have a variety of back up baits.
