Wanted to invite you up to fish with us here on the James on August 13th, Saturday, 6pm to 1am.
This is what we call a Target Weight Tournament. It levels the playing field for everyone.
Object is to get as close to 50 pounds total with up to 5 fish. You can weigh in one fish, two etc up to 5 (no dead fish). Closest total to 50 is the winner. Above 50 or Under doesn't matter. Example: 50.3 would beat 49.6.
Launching at Hopewell Marina.
$50 entry per boat. Plus an optional $10 big fish pot.
6pm to 1am.
Paying at least three places. We normally only have 10-20 boats.
All money paid back.
Hopewell marina is easy to get to from I-95. It is about 1 hr and 45 mins from SouthHill coming up I-85 to I-95.
