i still use an ultra classic. any of theirs are good but where are you going to use the fishfinder? kerr lake? then you don't really need all the bells and whistles. just a good large screen with plenty of pixels and a wide transducer angle. you don't need one that reads 1200 ft in kerr lake. do not forget it only tells you what is under you in the water a $1000.00 one will not help you make the cast or choose the right bait and they will not set the hook! spend your money on a good unit that will work correct where you are fishing and save your money for something else. anyway thats my 2 cents worth. hope it helps.
