Anyone been fishin there lately or heard of any fish tales from there?

There are no fish below the dam.

Seriously I have to drive over an hour to go fish there and it would be a great help if anyone could give me any info. It would be greatly appreciated.

They say some divers went down there,one time, and saw a catfish as big as a Volkswagon....They refused to go back. .........

i hear that rumor everywhere i go too, but we know thats not true in gaston because............... there are no fish below the dam.

fishcrazy...the tailrace is very hit and miss right now...if there at the right time it can be good

Thanks Corkman. That seems to be the story also at the Jordan tailrace as well. But really there are NO Fish below any of those dams.LOL

i went in the mornin for just a little today, i saw no evidence of any fish but i didnt stay until the water turned on, i dont know if that would have made a difference or not.
