if I had to just take 2 hard baits or plugs for stripers at night..what would be the best?

Mine would be a topwater broken back Redfin and a broken back shallow running Rebel...I'll take the Rebel over the Redfin due to better hook-ups. Use the big one, bout a 6 incher....not the little wimpy bass size.

would you use those in a tailrace fishery in current as well?

i would'nt but they work good with the water off. p.s. do they still make those big shallow rebels?
