I know most of you guys and myself use cast nets to catch shad. I saw these things called Shad Trawls, a net that you troll in circles 35 ft. behind your boat. My Question is, any of you ever used one and if so how well did it work? Thanks and Tight Line...I'll be out there fishing at full throttle Friday Night...Goodluck Fellow Catfishermen!

Hey, I bought one of these a couple of years ago. I dont know about anyone else but I never could get it to work. Even at hopewell on the flats, the shad were so thick I actually had two come in the back of the boat while trolling that net. I wish I knew you wanted one, I carried mine to the dump about 3 months ago. Good luck.
