Anyone catching any stripers , either trolling or at night on topwater ?
Has the # of dead ones from the spawning stress been " that " much greater than in past years ?
Fished yesterday (6/12) between buoys 12 & 14. Caught one nice white bass, a 5lb blue cat, and a huge white perch -it think. I'll have to compare the picture to see exactly what it was.
All in all a fair day after talking w/ some other folks who got skunked. I just don't think the stripers were biting. I saw a whole lot of fish and bait on the finder, but no bite. I heard they were biting good there last weekend(6/4&5)
friday mid-day was good down south below the tressel the fish were schooled pretty good between 6 boats there were 40+ fish boated..most were small around keeper size only a few were kept. the action was from 12p.m. till about 3p.m. a few were caught sat but the fish seemed to be scattered not schooled as the day before..hope this helps!
