Katmaster Jr., been off the site for a while, luck was on my side and I got to get into some real good fishing on Gaston. Found the big gizzards you talked about several weeks ago at Lizzard Creek, but I have found the last hour before light will result in some perfect size free line shad. These have been real productive for good eating size cats, jumbo pearch, a few walleyes, and alot of stinky largemouths. Guess I've been in the wrong place for stripers. That don't bother me, I'd rather have a 8" pearch than a 8lb striper, but thats just me. Ain't had time to read all the current post, looks like from a quick scan folks must have not enough time to fish and way to much time to complain. I sure appriciate yours and others post that kinda stick to fishing reports. Heck now I'm doing it. Later. Backtrack.
