Going to try my luck on some cats (mainly after eating size) on Saturday night. Any tips . I will probably be putting in around Island Creek or Henderson Point.
Baits? best to carolina rig with circle hooks? and areas tha tend to hold nighttime cats?

If you are after eating size cats, go get some Sonnys Stinky Bait and some of the plastic dip worms. Guaranteed to put dinner on the table.

Get some of the stinky stuff like Wormer said, and if you can throw a cast net you can't go wrong with some fresh cut gizzard shad. The rig you described will work just fine.

I don't fish that section of the lake at all, but I believe a good place to start would be the points. If you have multiple rods fan cast over the point and when you catch a fish move the rest of the rods closer to that location. If you don't have any luck there try the back of some of the larger coves that have shallow (8-12 feet) flats.
