they are catching some nice cats on the cat walk today,so you may want to give it a try.

thanks dave, i think ill try it tonight then because i heard one guy caught 37 one was in the 30s. ive got plenty of bait thats for sure.

i`m going in the morring,i`ll let you know how we do,i`m going to use 5 to 10 inch minnows we got 56 this afternoon.

unfortunatley the blues werent hitting this time,
my dad caught some channels, and i did have one good bite as soon as it finshed sinking, i was putting my pole down and it took off but i didnt hook em.

dave caught a nice striper and some white bass.


also there was alot of shad (threadfins) down by the wall.

Are you guys fishing under a float and using Shad? Are large minnows just as effective? Thanks.

i myself was using super flukes on a 3/8oz jig head.pearl flukes

the fish are hitting at the roanoke river tailrace.
caught 5 blue cats between 20-34 pounds.

also the small stripers are on, caught 12 easily.
all stripers were 2-5 pounds.
