Are the stripers still up at Weldon, catch and release still? Hate to drive from Oxford, NC. to no fish.

Yes, they are still there but not for long.

yeah i caught some stripers at the dam thursday night small ones though.

but caught alot of big blue cats.
caught the most and biggest ones ive ever caught at the dam, i had a
29 pounder,22,20,18,15,7,5. they all put up an awesome fight, i caught them on a slip bobber set at 15 feet right up agaisnt the dam, on fresh small shad 3-4 inches i caught at lizzard creek. they were swallowing the hook every time.
