Did I miss the striper run back toward Hibernia or are they still on the move back? I went Sat. evening and fished till way after dark with no luck and went back Monday and did the same with no luck and then had a friend go out yesterday with no luck all these times has been around the mouth of Grassy. I heard someone say they were catching some in Hibernia at night...confused here!

The ones that spawn in the Nuese are already back near the inlet, but it was all downstream.

I meant they didn't have to push so hard because they were swimming downstream instead of upstream. The guy that runs the KOA in New Bern told a buddy of mine that the stripers are passing back thru on their way out and the sea trout are pretty hot right now. I backed-out, I was going to go but I decided I didn't want to spend 2 of my 3 days off riding in that traffic. Good luck, be safe, take a kid fishin,
