I coming down to Kerr from Ohio this Saturday for a week and would like to know how the bass fishing is. I going to be camping at North Bend Park. What kind of lures are the bass hitting and where. Also are they hitting top water bates.
Don't let the tourneys scare you. It is a huge lake and since you will be there all week you will find fish. Try areas around Grassy Creek, Bluestone Creek, Butchers creek, etc... C-Rigs and Spinner baits slow rolled on Primary and secondary points will do you well. Also if you can find bushes and trees that are in like 3 foot or more of water hit them with wacky rigged worms.
