Fished Weldon today with small shad 4" or so and had very limited success. We ended up catching 22 stripers between 16 and 25 inches. We did get there a little late (9:30am) but biting was very sporatic. Did see an unusual catch today. A Flounder roughly 8 inchs long. He is a long way from home and didnt expect to see him up that far in the river. There were many fisherman there and parking lot was full. The fish were all caught between the big rock and the power lines. Maybe next week things will pick back up. Tight Lines
