Just wanted to let everyone know that the reason there cannot be a "pay at the pump" fueling station on Buggs Island is that the Corps of Engineers requires all gas pumps to be manned. I was just made aware of this and wanted to let everyone know, as it has come up here many times. I am sure this is to prevent many problems that could arise from people fueling their own boats.
Last time I was in Jersey the gas was cheaper than here and not only did they pump it, my windshield was also cleaned. I do not see a problem with that mentality.
