Have not been on the lake in 5 weeks but have my daughter coming in for a birthday fishing trip. I know it is a difficult time to fish with all the heat but any tips would be appreciated. A friend caught some nice crappie off brush at 30 foot last week. Some eater size cats may be easier. I just want to put them on a few fish. Thanks in advance. Fishbud

Hey Bud Long time no hear. I have not been in about 7 weeks. Check the new board JRS says d-e-e-p as in d-e-e-p. If you get the bait down they may bite. When it is this hot they can be cantankerous I am sure you know. Smiles. G.

Thanks Glenn, Deep is what I was thinking and as always thankful to hear from you. The wife just came in and told me about some slabs caught at Leesville Lake this past weekend. It is cooler water temps there and a different ballgame entirely with the water level changes. Later Fishbud
