Hey,
Was wondering if anyone here could provide me with some information about the Kerr Lake Dam area. I'll be up there mid AUG to do a little camping/ fishing from shore, and I am new to the area. First off, can anyone tell me a good location to pick up live minnows around the Dam area? Also, any suggestions for good camping spots located right on the water, possibly around the dam area? Like I mentioned, I'm new to the lake, but I am a fairly profficient cat/Largemouth/striper fisherman from the westcoast. I've been told the dam area is the best to hit all three. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Lots of great spots at North Bend for camping on the water. It is right at the ****. Teddy's store has nice "large" minnows as well and is just up from the campground on number 4 (Buggs Island Road).
