Caught a little sunburn and had some bait stolen, but that was about it for being on the water today from 8:30 or so until about 14:00.
Lots of good fish marks early on between Keats point and Marker #2. Some more between the channel and the rip rap east of the dam, which is where my body snatchers/bait stealers seemed to be. Maybe I am attracting juvenile gar or something.
Anyway, not a cat or a striper to be seen, and I don't recall anyone reporting a good day. I did see several top water hits, maybe striper chasing shad, but they were one or two fish at the most, not a school. Most of my time was between #2, the channel, and the rip rap.
