Anybody having any luck with flatheads on the lower end of the Dan? Caught a few small ones above South Boston last week but water is getting low again so probably want make that trip again for a while. What about the blues any luck with them?

Duke, they're strung all out. That's all I can say, the flatties are all strung out. I hear you on the low water, under 600 sometimes at paces is skinny. I'm having best luck right now on medium shad and large bream...jfo

JFO you mostly fishing the low end or on up in the river? Just trying to get back on the flatheads again caught right many on the low end but as they have went up did not have much luck.

caught some in the 30,s last week in Danville. Tried again Wed. night but water dropped to low, ended up bumping to many rocks, took out and put in at Paces and caught some in the 20,s. I don,t think they will be back down until the water gets back up.
