Well, took the wife out on the pontoon boat to do some trolling Friday evening and Saturday late morning. Friday trolled with three ways, smaller stuff, crankbaits, roadrunners, small spoons. She was able to boat three LMB and two catfish. Saturday started at the 6 buoy and trolled to the dam. Trolled bigger stuff, three ways, big crankbaits, roostertails and bucktails. Caught one catfish. Listening to the radio Saturday it sounds like fishing was tough for most everyone. I had never trolled that area before and caught the bottom around the big island, sure does come up fast there. With 200' of leadcore out on two rods made for some work to get them released.

Sounds like you had a great time. I will be purchasing what I need to start trolling in the next few weeks. I think I am just going to start with spoonplugs and see if I can locate some LMB with that approach. Can't wait!
