Learner, its tough up there. I have been skunked a right bit in there and when I did do a quality fish I really had to work for it. There just simply isn't a lot of water to work with. I'm gonna be honest, I havn't done crap above Milton. Below Milton I have not done ok but I've boated a few. Below Paces I have done better. Try doing the same thing you're doing down a ramp at the gage ramp or SOBO and see what happens. If you have a boat, go dosnstream from Milton...that's my 2cents but its highly possible somebody else here has better info. Good luck...jfo
iv had some good luck at sobo this year and seems like further up river, the better it gets, never fished much further above paces so dont know anything about up there
