Went out with a friend for a few hours Saturday morning. Managed a few LM, had two on a blue glimmer fluke early in the morning and a dink on a clear 5" grub with silver and black flake on an 1/8 oz ball head a little later in the morning. We were fishing the points Occoneechee side down from the power plant. Fish busting the surface all morning but not sure exactly what they all were.
I got into some of those fish breaking on the surface last week. All small fish. White perch, 8 inch largemouth and 6 inch stripers and a white bass or two. Small Pop-R or a 1/8 Kastmaster would hookup on some of them.
