going to bass pro this weeekend and wondering what color and how deep the best crankbaits are for buggs island lake ...thanks

brandon; Don't know if I can help you or not. If I were you and had a looooot of money I would get a variety.
It's going to depend on the water conditions as to witch is best for any given time. This time of year with the water temp up around 85 to 90 you will most likely need a medium to deep diving bait. If you fish early morning or late evening you may do well on a top water bait.
As far as color, if it looks like a bait fish try it. Again it depends on the water condition or water color.

rapala DT16 in firetiger, bluegill, parrot. norman dd22 in shad patterns. a 7 1/2 ft fiberglass rod an some thin 10lb test mono.
