comming down next week with my kids 1 is 8 and 1 is 10 and they want to walleye fish and i dont know how to do it how do you do it on this lake what baits where to fish any help would be nice thanks

Jimmy if you want these guys to have some fun Target white perch and cats. Not too many target walleye in kerr, There may be some here but, there not somthing to come fishing for if your just a 1 or 2 weekend a year fisherman. You can catch perch or cats in just about any cove, but Ive been fishing kerr for 20yrs and never personally seen a walleye in kerr.

fished buggs 35 yrs, bout a dozen walleye. most caught 20-25 ft deep in summer usin a SPOONPLUG #100 on wire line. got 3 once at the clarksville bridge off the old roadbed an 3 once downstream of satterwhite point on the underwater RR tressle. caught 1 or 2 at these places a few times also. most were citations. seen one caught on a hopkins fished for whitebass an one caught on a jig fished for crappie. caught over a thousand from philpott in last 5 yrs.
