If you have some kids that want to go fishing, White perch are hard to beat. You can go to almost any cove, put on a bait worm after you catch the first perch cut a strip off of it the size and shape of a small minnow and it is on, you wont have to rebait all day if you use cut perch. Use a brim hook tied above a 1/2oz weightand drop all the way to the bottom. The farther you get off the the main lake the better. I have two and thats the only kind of fishing that they really love, nonstop action.
