i hear most big cats take live bream as a favorite over cut bait etc. is live bream legal?

Uncle Jay, As long as you catch the bream on hook and line it is legal to use for bait.

Only legal if fished on rod and reel. Illegal if fished on set lines such as jugs, trot lines, limb lines etc.

You are subject to catch stripers, cats or largemouths on bream. They are great bait.
Its also fun catching them as well. It can really put a new definition to the word fishing. Good luck and keep us posted.
