Topo map question

Is there a good Topo map of B.I./Kerr that's water-proof also? If so, is there a place online that I can purchase one? Planning on coming down to fish first week of July and wanted to review a good map before heading down there.
Thanks,

Re: Topo map question

Re: Topo map question

GMCO makes a good one you can get one of the links below:

http://www.carolinamapdistributors.com/products/nautical/gmco.htm#order

http://www.eangler.com/product/416280238.htm

You can search <> for other places to buy online.

I like the map-book better, if you can find it.

Re: Topo map question

I'm up in Richmond and plan on making a few trips down that way this summer, but would like to scope out a good map before driving down there.
Thanks for the info guys, I'll check them both out.

Re: Topo map question

You might want to check out Kingfisher Maps in SC.

Re: Topo map question

Thanks for the links, I've book marked them and will review them before I order one, might do the on where if I order a certain amount I get free shipping. I need a good one for a couple of other rivers and lakes too.

On a side note: went out to test my carbs on my outboard this morning on the James and caught a couple of nice channel cats (perfect pan fryers) but I released them (don't trust the condition of the water on the lower James). Was only out for a couple of hours with the wife and one of our dogs. Got a list of "To Do" items on the boat now. Found a few more problems that need to be addressed before I take her out for a full day on the water. One thing is the hose connection under the built-in livewell is leaking so I have to pull the top deck to get excess so I can pull the livewell out to get to the hose area.
I'll be doing that this week, cause I really really want to get out and fish for a full day without working on the boat at all.
