I was wondering where nutbush was from Occoneechee if it a very long run

Nutbush Creek is down by the dam. It's at the opposite end of the lake from Occoneechee. Not sure about the mile marker at Occ. Creek but just guessing I'd say it's 18-20 miles.

I can't remember the buoy # at Occoneechee but buoy #1 is at the Dam toward Occoneechee. Then letter buoys start down the stretch toward Satterwhite Point, Nutbush is beyond Satterwhite at about K or L I think. Hope this helps. Smiles, G

take a look at the map link on this web page and it will give you a better idea of the distance. It might be better to launch from Satterwhite or some place at that end of the lake to save gas and time
