Hey guys gonna be down with the family the 9th thru 16th, gonna have quite a few kids with us....so I'll be doing some bass fishing obviously.....got a BFL coming up the end of the month. My question is this what is the best way to cook white bass for eating...I hope to have a good ol fashioned fish fry with the kids one night while we are there....and I have cleaned and cooked just about every kind of fish except a white perch/bass....help me out here....are they good to eat? Thanks.

Cooked some Saturday. Fillet them and cut out the red streak along the lateral line and near the skin. The fishy taste is in the red meat.

Is a White perch and a White bass the same thing? Thanx , Chris

Chris; No they are not ! You can go to Google search and type in white pearch and then white bass. It will tell you all you need to know about each one.
