G MAN and I trolled from County Line up to about 7 then ran down to the dam had 4 hits 1 striper 6 pounds in the boat. Cold, raining, wind, soaked to the bone and loved every min of it!
Marked a few at the graveyard and then near the dam all deep, nothing less than 23 feet. Used bucktails with lime green worms.
My buddy was in from OH, just for the weekend, so yes we fished (bass) in the rain. We caught nine in the morning, I'd say wind blown points, but EVERYTHING was wind blown in the morning. We went back out for a couple of hours in the afternoon, only caught two. All caught on crankbaits.
Did not fish but fished below the Gaston Dam. Caught a lot of small fish. Only two nice keepers which we released. Also caught several largemoouth fishing with shad on free lines.
