Have a 3/4 acre pond with about fifteen cats between 5 to 15 pds each with a 39 pounder flathead put in three years ago and will invite someone with kids to camp here at my pond all night to fish. I am guessing that you are worried the cats will eat the hybrids. That really shouldn't be a problem unless there isn't much of a forage base in your pond. I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding someone to come chase those cats. If I was closer, I would take you up on your offer.
Just put out some jugs and catch them out yourself,with as few as you say are in there it will not take long but I dont think the cats will be a problem either unless you do not have any other forage? What are the cats eating now ?
