Went Monday am at Occoneechee and pm down at Henderson in Nutbush. Caught fish both places and times including a couple in the 3 lb range. Many fish in Clarksville I caught were still shallow - on soft plastics and crankbaits.

Nutbush area - fished deeper and caught nice 3 lb as well as smaller fish - Carolina rig, suspending jerkbait, lipless crankbait - any lure you can effectively fish over 8-12' range. If you fish early or late you can cover a lot of water with faster moving lures even in these deeper zones.
