My friend and I are coming to Buggs Island on Thursday this week to fish for Crappie. Are they done spawning and where can they be found?

I can't answer the spawning question, but I can tell you that I have been camping for the last 2 weeks at Rudds Creek and the last "cove" on the back side of the campground is loaded with Crappie that are defintely keepers, along with some nice sized BlueGills. Additionally my friend has pulled 4 bass from this cove all 18" or bigger, and a couple of catfish that were nice sized but nothing spectacular. There are two particular spots on this cove where we've pulled the most within a matter of just a short time, but I'm gonna keep the specifics my secret It's not that big of a cove so if you give it a shot, you should have no problems finding what you're looking for!

Also if you are facing the bridge from the campground side (in the water) to the left is a nice spot, at least we've had a lot of luck there the last couple of weeks.
